Our primary trading material

Zorba is the shredded non-ferrous metal fraction recovered after ferrous material has been removed from shredded scrap. It is primarily aluminium, with a mix of other non-ferrous metals including copper, zinc, lead, stainless steel, and magnesium.

Traded Grades

Zorba 90/10

90% non-ferrous, 10% fines and contaminants

The most common traded grade. Suitable for most downstream processors and smelters. Aluminium-dominant with mixed non-ferrous content.

Zorba 95/5

95% non-ferrous, 5% fines and contaminants

Higher purity grade with reduced fines. Preferred by processors requiring cleaner feed material.

Zorba — Shredder Residue Fraction

Mixed grade, variable composition

Directly from shredder operations. Composition varies by source. Suitable for buyers who process and sort downstream.
